John Wahala

Assistant Director

As Assistant Director of the Center for Immigration Studies, John Wahala manages the day-to-day operations of the organization. He helps edit publications, oversees budget and development efforts, coordinates special events, and addresses journalists and policymakers on a variety of immigration issues. 

Mr. Wahala has researched and analyzed immigration at the Center since 2000 and has shared his expertise on major television and radio networks, including Fox News, CNN, and the BBC. He has a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University and a master’s degree from the University’s School of Public Policy.
