Jon Feere

Former Legal Policy Analyst; Current Senior Advisor for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement

Mr. Feere left the Center in January 2017 and now serves as a Senior Advisor for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Mr. Feere began working at the Center early 2002. He received his B.A. in political science and communications from the University of California, Davis and his J.D. from American University's Washington College of Law. While in law school he worked in the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee, specifically, the Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security, and Claims. He also interned as an Assistant Prosecutor for the Montgomery County Maryland Office of the State's Attorney.

Mr. Feere has been quoted by the national media including the Washington Post, Washington Times, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, and many other newspapers. He also has appeared on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, PBS News Hour, and is often a guest on radio stations throughout the country.

Mr. Feere is a contributor at and his editorials have appeared in various publications including the Daily CallerThe National InterestU.S. News & World ReportWashington TimesThe Christian Science Monitor,Townhall MagazineJurist, and PolicyMic.

Mr. Feere has testified before Congress.

Mr. Feere has spoken at various campuses including Harvard University, University of Texas, and American University's Washington College of Law, while his work has been cited in a number of law review articles. He has also served as a guest panelist for the State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program where he discussed U.S. and international immigration policy with foreign leaders.
