Together with several other academic, research, and governmental organizations, CIS is co-sponsoring a conference to explore ways to combat border-related human trafficking. The conference will take place in Houston, Texas, from September 20-22, 2022.

Jessica Vaughan, the Center’s director of policy studies, will participate in several panels at the conference, including sessions on human trafficking in Houston, trafficking of unaccompanied minors, and research needs to address human trafficking. Her remarks will build on her recent congressional testimony and ongoing research.
