Joseph Kolb is the Executive Director of the Southwest Gang Information Center, which disseminates information related to street, criminal, transnational, and outlaw motorcycle gangs in the southwest. The Center also conducts gang related courses for educators, the public, and law enforcement. Since 2011, Mr. Kolb has been an instructor at Western New Mexico University in the Department of Criminal Justice. He is also an award winning national security/criminal justice journalist covering the U.S.-Mexico border, and national security issues for Americas Quarterly, Counter Terrorism Magazine, Journal of Counter Terrorism and Homeland Security, Global Intelligence, and Journal of Emergency Medical Services.
