Steven A. Camarota, Research Director of the Center for Immigration Studies, and Angela Kelley talked about the DREAM Act (Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act) of 2007, on which the Senate was expected to hold a cloture vote to a motion to proceed to the bill. The bill would allow the children of illegal immigrants who entered the United States before age 16 and lived in the U.S. at least five years to gain conditional legal status and eventual citizenship if they attend college or join the military for at least two years
