Kausha Luna

Research Associate

As a Research Associate for the Center for Immigration Studies, Kausha Luna, a native Spanish speaker, monitors Spanish-language news sources. This role allows the Center to better understand how foreign papers and politicians discuss U.S. immigration issues. Ms. Luna translates this information, publishing blogs that allow the public to understand foreign perspectives on U.S. immigration policy.

Prior to joining CIS, Ms. Luna cultivated research skills interning for Live58. She also spent significant time in Peru researching international development. Most recently she has contributed to Independent Journal Review.

Ms. Luna earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of the South: Sewanee and is actively pursuing a master’s degree from the George Washington University.
