Dan Cadman

Dan Cadman is a Fellow with the Center for Immigration Studies, having contributed innumerable blogs, backgrounders, legislative analyses and other writings for nearly 15 years.

He served as the first Deputy Executive Director of Florida's State Board of Immigration Enforcement, created by statute in a special legislative session in January of 2025 to act as a coordinating center for all state and local enforcement organizations' cooperative efforts with federal Department of Homeland Security agencies.

Mr. Cadman also served in the legacy Immigration and Naturalization Service, and thereafter the Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency for almost 30 years, having finished his career as the Attaché at the American Embassy in Madrid, Spain.

Mr. Cadman's knowledge, operational experience and expertise in the immigration field are extensive, ranging from national security, to fraud and alien smuggling, to employer compliance and enforcement.
