A couple of days ago, the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) division within ICE tweeted out that it was going to work with border agents to detect fake families formed by alien adults for the sole purpose of using the unrelated minors accompanying them as shields against detention and removal if caught during their illegal border crossings.
Fake families are being formed to cross our border and avoid detention. ICE #HSI is working with @CBP to stop individuals, networks and organizations facilitating child smuggling and document fraud to illegally enter the U.S.
