This is a midyear survey of jails in the United States that tracks different measures of inmate population characteristics. This report includes jurisdictions with ICE detainees, their total number of confined persons, the number of confined persons being held for ICE, and the percentage of all inmates who are being held for ICE.

The Departments of Justice and Homeland Security are required by President Trump's "Public Safety in the Interior of the United States" to report quarterly data on the number of incarcerated aliens in the Federal law enforcement system. Secure Communities Statistics | Link
ICE's Secure Communities program provides interoperability of state, local and federal fingerprint collections to alert ICE when an alien is arrested, enabling them to take enforcement action if appropriate.
