Guatemalan police appear to have – for the time being – halted the U.S.-bound migrant caravan. As of Sunday evening, at least 6,000 migrants remained trapped before a multi-layered cordon of Guatemalan security forces in the state of Chiquimula town of Vado Hondo.
This occurs amid reports that newly seated President Joe Biden will propose to congress a general amnesty that would legalize essentially all illegal aliens in the U.S.
